Way back in January, I wrote about the time a zebra was spotted at a popular bar in Dubuque. If you're not familiar with the backstory, here's a quick little distillation... It all went down in May 2012. Jerald Reiter, 55 of Cascade, IA, stopped at the homey Dubuque staple The Dog House Lounge on a Sunday evening. Reiter had a zebra and a macaw in his vehicle, which immediately attracted the attention of bar patrons. People were taking pictures, and someone phoned the police. When the police showed up, they realized those animals were actually Reiter's legally registered pets!

CHIPPEWA FALLS — The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman who collapsed in the jail July 4 and later died at an area hospital as 41-year-old Shauna I. Dommer of Augusta. Victim Succumbs to Injuries After Stolen Truck From St. Cloud Leads to Multiple-Car Collision in Becker
(KNSI) – A man seriously injured after a truck reported stolen from St. Cloud caused a multiple-car crash in Becker has died. Investigators say on July 6th, around 3:15 Saturday afternoon, a Sherburne County Sheriff’s Deputy was trying to stop the driver of a Dodge Ram when the suspect crashed into two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 10 and Liberty Lane.
