IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa redshirt junior Raider Tello has agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Phillies. The El Monte, California, native led the team hitting .357 in 54 games this season. Tello notched 79 hits, 19 doubles, four triples, and seven home runs. He plated 60 RBIs and scored 51 runs. BELLE PLAINE, Iowa (KCRG) - Inside Drahos Shoe Store, on Main Street in Belle Plaine, lives generations of knowledge. “My grandfather was a Shoemaker in Bohemia. In 1904, he immigrated to the US. He was 17 years old. He had $22.60 in his pocket,” says Dan Drahos, the current owner and operator of Drahos Shoe Store. Don’s grandfather used those talents to start up a shoe repair business in Belle Plaine during the Great Depression, and eventually passed the business along to his son.
