Lewiston Man Allegedly Causes Injury Crash In North Whitman County
A Lewiston man was allegedly driving drunk when he crashed in North Whitman County injuring himself and his two passengers. The Washington State Patrol responded to the crash early Saturday morning around 3:00 at the junction of U.S. Highway 195 and State Route 271 South of Rosalia. Troopers say that 43 year old Brad Olander was driving a small sedan Northbound on US195 when he tried to exit onto to SR271. He crashed off the ramp and hit an embankment. Olander was injured along with his passengers 30 year old Willie Campbell and 30 year old Sophia Jones both of Lewiston. All three were taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Troopers say that Olander faces possible vehicular assault charges along with DUI.

Redfish Lodge begins to reopen, Bench Lake Fire almost contained
STANLEY, Idaho — Redfish Lodge began to open again to reserved guests on Sunday as fire crews neared total containment of the Bench Lake Fire. According to Nevada Team One, The Redfish Lake Recreation Complex opened back up Sunday as fire crews increased the fire to 85% containment. Personnel numbers decreased to 146 as Great Basin Incident Management Team Four transitioned control of resources to the Nevada team.

DWI clients have taken a break from their regular daily contract work to prep the 25,000 ducks by cleaning them up from their last race. They remove the old ID stickers and place new ones on them.
