Convict going to prison for 2023 Kearney assaults
KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - A judge sentenced a man to prison Tuesday for 11 crimes related to assaults in 2023. Brian Reeves, 40, was convicted in May for 11 crimes, including attempted used of a deadly weapon, 3rd degree domestic assault, strangulation, two counts of terroristic threats, two counts of false imprisonment, two counts of violating a protection order, one count of witness tampering and one count of misdemeanor third degree assault.

Nebraska guard cleared for all basketball related activities
A Nebraska basketball guard had officially been cleared for basketball activities. CBS Sports College Basketball Insider Jon Rothstein broke the news that new transfer Rollie Worster can now participate in all team/individual-related training. Worster played in 16 games last season before suffering a season-ending foot injury. He averaged 9.9 points, 5.5 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game.
