Utah high school athletes to represent state at festival in France ahead of Paris Olympics
SALT LAKE CITY — A group of six Utah teenagers will travel to France on Sunday to participate in a global youth sports festival ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The Utah high school athletes will participate in a week of activities with 500 youth from 36 countries. The Utah delegation is one of only five from North America.

Animal control reminds Summit County residents to license dogs
Anyone who needs to register their canine with animal control can do so at summitcounty.org. “It’s our way to kind of keep track of them, same as you have to get a Utah driver's license for ID as a person,” Animal Control Officer Lourinda Chilson said. “That way we can keep track of their rabies information, which is the state and county requirement.
