October is a great time to grab Halloween deals to save money and stretch your restaurant budget further . Join in the spooky fun of the season with a "boorito" from Chipotle, a Boo Bucket from McDonald's, and a Munchkin Bucket from Dunkin'. See how to get these limited-time Halloween promotional deals.
You'll have to wait until Oct. 31 to score the $6 "boorito" from Chipotle, but this year customers won't have to fuss with downloading apps or entering promo codes.
Diners will have to dress up in their costumes and visit a participating restaurant between 3 p.m. and closing time on Halloween.
Regular burrito prices vary by location, but with most local Chipotle's highest prices currently at $12.75 for the limited-time smoked brisket, the "boorito" event could save customers more than 50%.
Boo Buckets return to McDonald's on Oct. 15 with fresh new designs of the nostalgic Trick-or-Treat pails. Each bucket features a monster face and comes with themed stickers for even more fun customizing your collectible.
To get one of your own, head to the Golden Arches after they release and get a Happy Meal. The iconic buckets replace the regularly included toy, so the price is not changed.
Dunkin'
Dunkin’ is dropping a new Halloween Munchkins Bucket that comes filled with 50 assorted Munchkin donut holes. The new Halloween sprinkle-covered Munchkins are even included in the mix. Pick one up from Dunkin' starting Oct. 16.
Collectibles are fun, but Chipotle is the place to grab significant savings on your order this Halloween. The deal starts at 3 p.m. and runs until locations close — but some locations are offering extended hours.
College towns that eat the most Chipotle will have locations open until midnight to accommodate the younger generation's preference for late-night celebrations. Students are notorious for keeping late hours, often to work side hustles to supplement expensive college tuition loans.
Money tips that can work for everyone
No matter what your bank account balance is, there's always an opportunity to optimize and improve your finances. Here's a quick checklist of things you can look at today.
Focus on paying off your debt. Debt can hold you back from making progress with your overall financial well-being. Aside from cutting expenses, there are tools that can help you pay off debt faster like balance transfer credit cards and debt counseling.
Earning extra income can give you breathing room. If finances are tight, earning some extra money to supplement your income can make a huge difference. A new job is one option to consider, but if you're not ready to make a big change or already retired, a part-time side job could be a better choice.
Cut your expenses. It sounds painful and so not fun, but it doesn't have to be. Take a look at your biggest expenses because that's where you'll probably find the biggest savings. For example, auto insurance rates have been soaring so shopping around for a new insurance company can be the fastest way to cut your bill. Also, look for ways to cut your grocery bill (despite rising inflation).
