Kentucky Fried Chicken is bringing four new items to the menu and plans 13 days of deals for loyal customers to try them. Between Oct. 19 and 31, there will be deals every day that can help you stretch your fast food budget further .
Find out all the details about KFC's new menu items and how to get deals.
The new Original Recipe tenders became available on Oct. 14 and differ from the "Extra Crispy" by being double-breaded in the Original Recipe made from 11 secret herbs and spices. They are available in the three-piece Original Recipe Tenders Box, and the price varies by location.
Along with a new chicken offering, KFC has also dropped a new sauce on its menu. The Comeback Sauce is described as zesty and creamy, meant to pair perfectly with the Original Recipe chicken.
Cherry Pie Poppers
Got a sweet tooth? You'll love the new cherry pie in the form of bite-size poppers. The flaky crust and gooey cherries will be the perfect dessert after your meal.
Cranberry season is starting a little bit early this year with a limited-time Cranberry Lemonade. This beverage is perfect for everybody anticipating the Thanksgiving feast.
Bottom line
If the new menu items sound delicious to you, you'll want to take advantage of the "13 Days of Daily Deals" event between Oct. 19–31.
You'll need to sign up for the KFC Rewards members program, but then the deals will drop every day with additional points that go toward free KFC for you in the future.
Dropping fast food is often one of the first steps to tackle rising grocery costs , but signing up for rewards programs at your favorite chains can help make the occasional treat more affordable.
Money tips that can work for everyone
No matter what your bank account balance is, there's always an opportunity to optimize and improve your finances. Here's a quick checklist of things you can look at today.
Focus on paying off your debt. Debt can hold you back from making progress with your overall financial well-being. Aside from cutting expenses, there are tools that can help you pay off debt faster like balance transfer credit cards and debt counseling.
Earning extra income can give you breathing room. If finances are tight, earning some extra money to supplement your income can make a huge difference. A new job is one option to consider, but if you're not ready to make a big change or already retired, a part-time side job could be a better choice.
Cut your expenses. It sounds painful and so not fun, but it doesn't have to be. Take a look at your biggest expenses because that's where you'll probably find the biggest savings. For example, auto insurance rates have been soaring so shopping around for a new insurance company can be the fastest way to cut your bill. Also, look for ways to cut your grocery bill (despite rising inflation).
