Person killed by train Saturday morning in Springfield Twp., police confirm
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTVG) - The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed one person was killed by a train in Springfield Township Saturday morning. Police say they first received a call around 8:30 a.m. for a pedestrian hit by a train at the intersection of Crissey Road and Geiser. Officers say the train that struck the person was traveling eastbound.
