The 2024 Starbucks Fall Menu Has Been Leaked Online: Here’s What Drinks and Treats to Get Excited About

Even though summer’s still in full swing, I’m already counting down the days until I start seeing the leaves turn color and people wearing cozy sweaters. But if you’re a coffee lover like me, you already know fall comes early — as in this month. Normally, August has been the month when Starbucks rolls out its far favorites (PSL, anyone?). But this year, a leak of the menu has already spread online, adding even more buzz. So, I found out everything you need to know about the 2024 Starbucks fall menu — what’s confirmed, what’s rumored and what you absolutely need to try.

Starbucks Coffee has not yet officially announced its 2024 fall menu or an expected release date. Historically, the coffee chain usually settles for the last week of August to bring back iconic sips like the Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL). Last year, they released the fall menu on August 24.

What has been leaked about the Starbucks fall menu?

Thanks to a post by Instagram user @Markie_Devo , the menu is expected to release on Thursday, August 22. Here it is below:

Of course, the beloved PSL, now synonymous with fall itself, is back, available hot, iced or as a frappuccino. If you aren’t familiar with the flavor, the drink combines espresso, steamed milk and traditional fall spices (all topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice). Additionally, several returning favorites are making a comeback, including the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, the Apple Crisp Macchiato Oatmilk and the Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso.

One of the more interesting returning options is the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, which originally gained popularity as a “secret menu” item before making its way onto the official menu. It’s back again this year, and for good reason.

As for what’s new, Starbucks is adding a non-dairy Iced Apple Crisp Cream Chai to the lineup. And here’s where things get really exciting: for the first time ever, it looks like Starbucks will stagger the release of its fall drinks. The first batch drops on August 22, with another round of new items launching on Thursday, September 19. The second release includes two brand-new drinks: an Iced Pecan Crunch Oat Milk Latte and a Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam.

When it comes to food, I will always argue Starbucks delivers just as well as its drinks. But their seasonal food is really where it’s at. The anticipated fall menu includes classics like the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and Baked Apple Croissant. But Starbucks also shakes things up with a couple of new additions: a vanilla-flavored Raccoon Cake Pop and a Mummy Cookie (in the second release).

What people have said on social media

Since the leak, people have taken to social media to express their early reviews of the Starbucks fall menu leak. “NOOOOO I can’t control myself around this menuuu im scared,” wrote one excited Instagram user.

Others mentioned their favorite returning items: “Iced pumpkin cream chai how I’ve missed you,” one user commented. But another begged for a past favorite to return: “Bring back the pumpkin scones!!!,” which garnered 132 likes. What are your thoughts? Comment down below!
