Celebrities are just like the rest of us. OK — there are a few key differences. But one thing that we all have in common is our love for our pets. Our favorite actors, musicians and fashion icons have dogs they adore, who have been prominently and adorably displayed in the latest issue of Vogue , aptly referred to as Dogue .
“We decided to celebrate the sleepy, pre-fashion month dog days of summer with a special digital cover project; but rather than Vogue covers: Dogue covers,” magazine editors wrote.

All these pups seem like the best four-legged boys and girls around and deserve all the belly rubs and treats their hearts desire. But we of course must dig into just a few of our favorite Dogue highlights.
Demi Moore’s Chihuahua, Pilaf
Demi Moore thinks her Chihuahua, Pilaf, looks like a cross between a goldfish and Bette Davis, she tells Vogue . The white-and-brown long-haired Chihuahua weighs a minuscule 1.2 pounds, making her the perfect portable accessory for her mom across red carpets, theaters, fashion shows and elsewhere.
Like many other pet-parent meet-cutes, Moore and Pilaf, whose full name is Pilaf the Little Mouse Moore, were united during the pandemic when Moore’s daughter, Tallulah Willis, found Pilaf on Facebook. Pilaf, though, was all the way across the globe in Thailand. Moore says Willis knew the two were a perfect match, so the pup was flown to Los Angeles. That was only her first international flight, as she’s flown to Europe 14 times since beginning her life with the Ghost star.
“She was meant to be with me, and I was meant to be with her,” Moore says.
Anna Wintour’s Goldendoodles
The Wintour household is filled with Goldendoodles. There’s nine-year-old Radley, eight-year-old Harper and five-year-old Finch. Yes, they’re all named after To Kill a Mockingbird characters. On whom would voice each dog in a movie: Radley would be voiced by Nicole Kidman or Isabelle Huppert, Harper by Tyla or Ayo Edebiri and Finch by Amy Poehler.
“The dogs have several wonderful qualities,” gushed the girls’ dog walker Olaseni Olukogbon, Wintour and Bee Carrozzini. “They have a strong bond and hate to be apart from each other, showing their deep connection. They’re always ready to defend one another, reflecting their loyalty and protective nature. They’re also incredibly affectionate and intelligent, often picking up new tricks quickly. Their need for attention can be a bit overbearing at times, as they’ll insist on being the center of your world—whether you’re ready for it or not! Additionally, they’re incredibly joyful whenever they see their dog friends, highlighting their friendly and social personalities.”

Mariah Carey’s Jack Russell Terriers
“They’re not just my best friends but my protectors as well,” the Grammy-winning singer says of her terriers Mutley, Jill E. Beans and Cha Cha. “They’re like my bodyguards, following me everywhere I go!” The dogs are related — Cha Cha is Jill E. Beans’s mother, and Jill E. Beans is Mutley’s aunt. And yet, each has their own distinct qualities. Cha Cha “speaks,” while Mutley is something of a model, constantly posing, Carey reveals. Still, they’re all equally spoiled, glamorous and deeply loved.
Sydney Sweeney’s Pitbull, Tank
Sydney Sweeney’s Pitbull rescue, Tank, came into her life thanks to her great-grandmother. Her great-grandmother owned eight dogs and, when she had no more room to bring them home, she went to them, volunteering once a week at a local animal shelter. One weekend, she brought a 17-year-old Sweeney with her, and that’s where the actress saw a female pitbull-mix puppy of about four weeks old. At the time, Tank’s belly was full of infected stitches, as she had been fixed too young, Sweeney explains. In fact, there was a chance Tank wasn’t going to make it. So, Sweeney took the pup home (where she still lived with her parents) and was immediately grounded.
“I wanted her to grow up and be a big tank—be my protector,” Sweeney says of her dog’s name. She nursed Tank to health, and now the pittie is living large. She has a backyard to frolic in (which Sweeney says was a major dream of hers), accompanies her human on movie shoots and romps around with fellow co-star dogs and sleeps in Sweeney’s bed with her head on a pillow.
