The National Trust Just Awarded $3 Million in Grants to Preserve Iconic African American Sites
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” philosopher George Santayana wrote in 1905. The African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is putting its money where its mission is to ensure that the past can be remembered—and preserved.
