Ammon woman sentenced for fatal rollover crash near Sandy Downs
Jessica Martinez, who has pleaded guilty to a vehicular manslaughter charge, was sentenced on July 10. Teen dies after head-on collision on Highway 44 west of Star
BOISE, Idaho — A teen is dead after they were involved in a head-on collision Thursday night on Highway 44 near Star. Idaho State Police reported around 8:40 p.m., a 30-year-old man from Middleton was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado west on the highway and tried to overtake a semi-tuck. The Silverado was in the eastbound lane when the pickup truck crashed head-on into a teen driving a 2011 Ford Focus with two teen passengers.
