(WFRV) – Multiple KFC locations in southern Wisconsin are reportedly closing and are expected to lay out just over 80 employees. According to a letter sent to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), EYM Chicken of Wisconsin, LLC will be permanently ceasing operations in Wisconsin. This is reportedly due to the ‘unforeseen business circumstance’ and not being able to reach a resolution with KFC.

Raccoons normally shy away from human encounters, but that wasn’t the case for two in Baileys Harbor. The two raccoons – one at Toft Point State Natural Area, July 17, and another at The Ridges Sanctuary, July 18 – exhibited “over-friendly” behaviors. They were euthanized to maintain public safety and limit the animals’ suffering.
