FISHER, Ill. (WCIA) — The Fisher Community Fair is July 7 – 13. The week is full of events and fun, including the Miss, Junior Miss, and Little Miss Fisher Fair Pageants.

To talk more about the competitions and the fair overall, WCIA’s Karina Rubio was joined by last year’s Fisher Fair royalty — Miss Ella Luna-Drone, Jr. Miss Alleigh Kellems, and Little Miss McKinlee Robison.

Upcoming county fairs across Central Illinois

The 2023 pageant was Luna-Drone’s very first. She has since been able to learn more about agriculture and represent the Fisher Fair at the Illinois State Fair. It was not Kellem’s first rodeo at pageantry, however it was her first time specifically competing in the Jr. Miss Pageant. Both queens were happy to be crowned, and so was Little Miss Robison, who described her win as a “shock moment.”

This year’s pageants will take place in the Grandstands on Monday, July 8 at 6 p.m. Other notable events at the 83rd Annual Fisher Community Fair will include:

    • Horse show – July 7
    • Redneck Games – July 9
    • Tractor pulls – July 10
    • Concert: Sawyer Brown with Tony Lindsey & The Smoke Wagon – July 12
    • Demolition derby – July 13
