Taste of Flat Rock Summer Block Party, featuring food samples, July 20

FLAT ROCK — The annual Taste of Flat Rock Summer Block Party is set for noon-4 p.m. July 20 at a new location, Arsenal Road.

Taste of Flat Rock offers samples of local food and drinks and activities for people of all ages.

"We will have food vendors from the Flat Rock community selling single-serving samples for $1 or $5. Non-food vendors will be showcasing and selling select products," said Diane Parker, owner of Biggby Coffee and an event organizer.

Huron River Inn, Biggby Coffee of Flat Rock, Angie’s Kettle Corn, Princess Mediterranean Grill, Sugar Island Baking Co., Hometown Ice Cream and Candy, Nutrition Hub, S&J's Cupcakery, Leo’s Coney Island, Burger One, Calder Dairy, Tiffany’s Pizza, Nikki’s Pizza Truck, Gojo‘s Grubhouse, Zorba‘s Coney Island and Jim’s Butcher Shop

Other offerings

Other Taste of Flat Rock offerings will include vendors, music from a disc jockey, dancers from Sherry's School of Dance and athletes from PKSA Karate Studio.
