Mississippi Street, the place where eye grew up at. Remember vividly the love shared by everyone. Lifelong friends becoming family was created during this time,it was a great place to be during that time. In my mind that was the reason for The "Urban Renewal" ,to break up the Unity.

I lived on Genesee Avenue when we moved because the 475 express way was about 5 or 6 years old. It was a nice neighborhood everyone new each other the schools, Mr. Brown store , Church , I remember the Jarrett Brothers store, my mom can remember more than me but I do remember. Messer school, Drug store, had different stores, Kmart, Pic way, so many memories.
