Tom Cruise Does Cross-Country Skydiving Stunt at Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony

Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise delivered another memorable performance for all the world to see. The actor handed the Paris Olympics off to Los Angeles in a cross-country, skydiving stunt at the 2024 closing ceremonies. Tom Cruise is known by his millions of fans as a daredevil who does all his own stunts so this wasn't that much of a surpise, if you've seen his movies.

Last night, fans saw the star swinging high up from the top of 'Stade de France' before he glided down onto the stadium’s field being met with screams and cheers from the excited viewers both in the stadium and at home. Tom then greeted the beloved athletes, while some major guitar shredding was going on from the band H.E.R., who sang our countries national anthem just minutes before the stunt took place.

It was definitely a sight to behold and one fans won't soon forget. ''He received the Olympic flag from Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and gymnast Simone Biles, then strapped it safely to the back of a motorcycle and rode off into the sunset — or at least, into a pre-recorded video that tracked his journey to Hollywood,'' according to People.
