Vince Vaughn Awarded Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Actor Vince Vaughn was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, August 12, 2024. The star of "Wedding Crashers" received the honor with his friends, family and a special guest, actor Mel Gibson. His speech was full of thank you's to those who supported him through his life and career including; his wife Kyla Weber and their two children, a daughter Locklyn and their son Vernon.

"The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor multi-hyphenate Vince Vaughn with a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "From his work on television to film, Vince has made quite an impact on the entertainment world and we are excited to celebrate his achievements with this dedication ceremony," according to UPI.

The actor and producer was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but was raised in the Lake Forest area of Illinois. He made his acting debut in 1993 in the sports drama Rudy. His breakthrough role came in 1996 in the comedy Swingers. He starred in many other comedies such as ''Old School,'' ''Dodgeball,'' ''Wedding Crashers,'' ''The Break-Up,'' ''Couples Retreat,'' ''Starsky & Hutch'' and many others that cemented his career in Hollywood.
