Grant Ellis Announced As "The Bachelor" For Season 29

ABC just announced that Grant Ellis has been selected as ''The Bachelor!'' He was a fan-favorite, who participated in this season of "The Bachelorette" but was eliminated and he will now be the lead for the next season of "The Bachelor". Grant Ellis will 'star' in season 29 of the popular reality tv series, which is scheduled to air on the ABC network in 2025. The dating & relationship series, that has been on the air for twenty-eight years, debuted on March 25, 2002.

Grant Ellis will now be the second black 'Bachelor' to take the lead in the long-running franchise hit behind Matt James, who was the first to be chosen. This means that the new ''Bachelor'' will be handed a list of potential 'love' interests from which he will choose his fiancée. In ''Bachelor'' fashion, one by one, Grant Ellis will eliminate these eager participants over the entire season until he reaches THE final choice and decides who he will offer a marriage proposal to.

“The former pro basketball player is passionate about his career as a day trader, but when he’s not immersed in the fast-paced world of finance, you can find him cheering on the Lakers, hitting strikes at the bowling alley, or belting out tunes at karaoke nights,” according to a press release from ABC, which airs both shows. “As the Bachelor, Ellis is eager to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure, and genuine connections. He hopes to find a partner who shares his values of loyalty, humor and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures,” according to CNN.
