Cast, Premiere Date & More For 'Dancing With The Stars’ New Season

I have big ''Dancing With The Stars'' news! It was announced that the new season will premiere on September 17, 2024 on both ABC and the Disney + streaming service. It also looks like some of our favorites will be returning to ''Dancing With The Stars'' on for it's 33rd season as well. The ABC network officially confirmed on Tuesday with a post on Instagram.

Familiar faces in the new season will include Julianne Hough (pictured above) and Alfonso Ribeiro. Both fan-favorites will be returning as co hosts for the upcoming season and of course, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough will all return as judges. Celebrity dancers competing on ''Dancing With The Stars'' in Season 33 have not yet been announced to the public but fans are hoping for a few Olympic athletes to be in the mix, according to social media buzz.

''Dancing With The Stars'' is a dance competition show that premiered on June 1, 2005 on the ABC network. ''The show pairs celebrities with professional dancers. Each couple competes against the others for judges' points and audience votes. The couple receiving the lowest combined total of judges' points and audience votes is usually eliminated each week until only the champion dance pair remains,'' as stated on Wikipedia.
