Drew Barrymore Will Try 'Physical Distancing' During Interviews As Show Is Renewed For Two Seasons

''The Drew Barrymore Show'' is renewed for two more seasons! The talk show was launched in 2020, during the pandemic and has gained a mass audience. Drew Barrymore herself revealed the exciting news and says she also wants to continue 'the joy' and she admits she wants to work on 'physical distance' as well.

The CBS Daytime Talk Show was created as a safe place celebrities to share personal experiences but Drew Barrymore, admittedly needs to work on the physical space between her and her guests. Her interviews are done in what seems to be more of an intimate conversation style, not the usual style for most talk shows.

"Well, you know. I will try to practice physical distance, which is not my strong point." she states. The actress has received some backlash for this style from viewers and the press. Either way, her millions of fans continue to tune in to the popular talk show every day for the past 4 seasons.

She also shares her insights with Entertainment Tonight on her show being picked up for an additional two seasons. "We were likely to not get there," Drew said about the show's renewal. "I always think that when good things happen, you should talk about it. You know, it wasn't just easy; it wasn't just handed. We had a lot of years of uncertainty. So, this feels all the more delicious because of that," as stated on Buzz Feed.
