    Billy Joel Announces New Concert Date in Connecticut

    The piano man is back! Billy Joel announces his first public concert date for Connecticut in over 17 years. The summer of 2024, saw the entertainer completing a 10 year residency at Madison Square Garden. This special event will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Montville, Connecticut on February 22, 2025 at 8 pm. Tickets go on sale today, Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:00 am.

    The legendary singer and songwriter is one of the most popular recording artists in the world and one of the most respected entertainers in history. With 23 Grammy Award nominations and 43 'Billboard Hot 100' singles, Billy Joel is one of the Best-selling artists of all time. To date, he has sold over 160 million records worldwide. He is also considered to be by many, one of the best live performers of our generation.

    Billy Joel's prolific music career spans almost sixty years and ''began with 1973’s autobiographical "Piano Man". Written while Joel was playing in a Los Angeles lounge. In 2016, the Library of Congress selected ‘Piano Man’ for preservation in the National Recording Registry for its ‘cultural, historic and artistic significance’. The hits have continued for almost five decades, with three of Joel’s Top 40 songs - "It’s Still Rock and Roll To Me", "Tell Her About It" and "We Didn’t Start The Fire" according to the Mohegan Sun Arena website.
