Katy Perry Talks New Album "143" Release Date & Collaborations

Exciting news for all Katy Perry fans! Her new album "143" is set to be released on Friday, September 20, 2024. You can preorder the album today on her official website. The album title, numbers 1 4 3 is a colloquial language that stands for 'I Love You' and will be the seventh studio album by the talented artist.

The album features several guest appearances including the talented singer Kim Petras as well as popular rappers; 21 Savage, JID, and Doechii. She also, once again, worked with producers Max Martin, Stargate, and Dr. Luke. The singer-songwriter has had to deal with the outrage over working with Dr. Luke, who was behind some of her greatest hit records including “California Gurls” and “Teenage Dream,” just to name a few.

She has stated publicly that the songs from the album come from her and her experiences alone. “The truth is, I wrote these songs from my experience of my whole life going through this metamorphosis, and he was one of the people to help facilitate all that.'' Katy says that Dr. Luke was one of many collaborators she worked with on the new album, she explains this on the podcast, which was also reported by Variety.
