Teed & Brown Broadway & Cabaret Series presents Chazz Palminteri’s One Man Show "A Bronx Tale" on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 8 pm in Ridgefield. The Academy Award-nominated star Chazz Palminteri is returning to The Ridgefield Playhouse and taking the stage with “A Bronx Tale” for this incredible performance. ''A Bronx Tale'' debuted at The Tribeca Film Festival this year with a filmed performance of this autobiographical, one-man stage play, which was written and directed by it's star Chazz Palminteri. In 1989 Palminteri wrote this one man show for himself, a play entitled “A Bronx Tale,” a strong stage commentary where he takes us on a journey through his ''bruising childhood'' in detail, including many gang related slayings he witnessed.

''Palminteri brought each and every character to life (18 in all) in this autobiographical piece — his friends, enemies, even his own family. He showcased for years in both Los Angeles and New York, finally sparking the interest of his film idol, Robert De Niro. DeNiro, wanting to direct for the first time, saw the potential of this project and brought both it and the actor/writer to the screen.''
