Country Music's Morgan Wallen Donates $500K For Relief in Several States

Fans of country music star Morgan Wallen are singing his praises! The Tennessee native is stepping up to help the victims that are impacted by the hurricane. Hurricane Helene made landfall near Perry, Florida, which is East of the Aucilla River. Winds reached 140 mph, which made this a Category 4 storm. Hurricane Helene is considered to be one of the most powerful hurricanes to strike the United States.

The multi-award winning country artist donated a generous $500,000 to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief. Morgan Wallen's donation will directly help those impacted by Helene. According to the country singers foundation, the Morgan Wallen Foundation, which supports programs for youth in the areas of sports and music. They have also made a commitment, helping struggling communities in times of crisis. The foundation insures access to food, critical supplies and much more.

''The "Last Night" singer grew up in Tennessee, having graduated from Gibbs High School in Knox County. This isn't the first time the star has given back to the community that helped raised him, as he previously donated $140,000 to the Gibbs Youth Sports program to renovate Ruritan Park earlier this year,'' according to Fox News.
