    Fall in New England is simply gorgeous, especially during festival season! Connecticut has so much to do and so much to offer families this time of year. These fun festivals The Best Fall Festivals offer tasty food, cooking demonstrations, carnival rides, live music, arts & crafts, animals and so much more.

    Here are a few October Festivals and a Fall Fair to check out this month. Let's start with the South Windsor Apple Festival in Hartford, Connecticut. This festival features more than 100 vendors, a dunk tank, train rides, hot air balloon rides, and live music. This year's event takes place on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

    Next up, is this fall event Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival in Bethlehem, Connecticut, near Litchfield County. With delicious garlic dishes for sale, they also offer live entertainment, as well as crafts and fun activities for kids. You definitely won't want to miss the cooking demonstrations and garlic growing lectures. It will take place from October 12th - 13th, 2024.

    You also need to stop by the Glastonbury Apple Harvest & Music Festival in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This festival offers so much family fun, including local musicians as well as a 5K race. There will also be a bunch of fun carnival rides for the kiddos and they are offering plenty of tasty apple dishes as well. This wonderful festival will take place from October 18th - 20th, 2024.

    Lastly, is a major Fall event in Connecticut! The Riverton Fair is one of the best things to do in Riverton, Connecticut. This fair is one of the biggest of the season and offers so much fun. If you love a good old-fashioned fair with carnival games, great food, animals and rides you need to stop by for a visit. This all takes place from October 11th - 13th, 2024.
