Britney Spears Reveals She Is Married Again--To Herself!

Britney Spears is married again, well...sort of! The pop icon has declared she has married herself. She made the surprising reveal over the weekend. On Sunday, October 20, 2024 Britney Spears shared a video on her official Instagram account for her millions of fans. In the video, Britney is standing in a long, white wedding dress with a veil.

She posed in front of the camera smiling, swaying calmly, in the video. While she posed for her 41.9 million followers on Instagram, in the background you could hear Sting's "Fields of Gold" playing. The video was captioned "The day I married myself … Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!" she stated.

Britney's Ex, Sam Asghari filed for divorce from the ''Hit Me Baby One More Time'' singer, citing irreconcilable differences. Their very public divorce was finalized in May of 2024, after the couple had been married for almost two years. Britney is the mother of two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, she has with first husband, Kevin Federline.
