Join the Pinal County Parks and Trails Department Wednesday and Thursday in removing invasive plant species from Peralta Regional Park, 17975 Peralta Road in Gold Canyon.

Volunteers will be instructed on how to identify invasive weeds and how to remove them properly, according to a release.

“This effort is essential to maintaining a healthy desert ecosystem and helps our wildflowers come back each year. We look forward to your help in protecting our native plants and wildlife,” it states.

Volunteers will meet at Peralta Regional Park’s main parking lot. For questions, call 520-509-3555.
