Florence council approves Territory Square agreement
The Florence Town Council is making moves again to get rolling on the proposed Territory Square development. At its Monday meeting, the council authorized the mayor to execute a professional services agreement with the engineering firm of Wood, Patel & Associates Inc. The services are for the development of a final Letter of Map Revision required by the federal government for the removal of a 47-acre parcel within the Territory Square development from the Gila River floodplain, the staff report stated. The agreement is not to exceed $199,794.
