    GoFundMe created for family of autistic boy hit, killed by car in Florence

    FLORENCE, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A GoFundMe has been created to help cover expenses for 4-year-old Jamison Beck , a nonverbal autistic child, who was killed after being hit by a car on Sunday.

    Boone County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) said Beck died at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on Monday after he was struck by a car heading west on the Weaver Road overpass over I-75.

    Authorities said the crash is still under investigation. Speed, alcohol, and drug impairment have been ruled out as factors and no charges have been filed in the case.

    After the first day, Beck’s GoFundMe has raised $3,040 of its $10,000 goal. According to GoFundMe, the funds raised will support the family in paying for funeral expenses and any unexpected expenses while the family grieves the loss of their son.
