A caller told police hours after a July 6 mass shooting at a party in Florence that the shooter made threats of his plans before he shot and killed four partygoers and injured another three.

Boone County computer-aided dispatch logs were released to The Enquirer on Tuesday following a public records request. A person who identified herself as the best friend of Delaney Eary, one of the four killed in the shooting at the Ridgecrest Drive birthday party, told a dispatcher she needed a detective to call her.

Call logs state that she had information about the shooter making threats to Eary that he was going to commit the act. The shooting occurred just before 2:30 a.m. that Saturday. Eary's friend made the call later that day at 11:40 a.m.

Police identified the shooter as Chase Garvey, 21 . He turned the gun on himself shortly after fatally shooting four people and wounding three others.

Another person called later that afternoon to report there was an Instagram account posting "disrespectful things" about the victims, call logs state. The account, "cakethash0t," has since been deleted.

Audio recordings show chaotic scene at the home

While data of these subsequent calls were provided by Boone County to The Enquirer, the audio recordings of the calls were not. Other 911 calls made as the situation unfolded depict a chaotic scene.

Multiple people called 911 in the early hours of that Saturday to report the shooting, which occurred at a home during a 21st birthday party. Callers indicated there were around 50 people there when Garvey opened fire.

"My caller is in the laundry room," a dispatcher said in one call. "My caller is in the basement," a dispatcher said in a second call.

One caller said about 20 people were hiding in the basement to wait for the shooter to leave. Among the wounded, the caller said, was his sister who was shot twice in the leg.

"You're OK, you're OK, you're OK," the caller said as screaming continued in the background.

Another caller said Garvey had left the house and gone in the backyard to continue shooting. That's when they said he left in a Lexus. Police pursued him before he shot himself.

During a press conference later in the day, police identified the victims killed as Melissa Parrett, 44, of Florence; Shane Miller, 20, of Florence; Hayden Rybicki, 20, of Elsmere; and Eary, 19, of Burlington. Three others were injured and hospitalized.

Enquirer reporter Bebe Hodges contributed to this report.
