Child suffers serious injuries after head-on crash in Berlin Twp., 3 others hospitalized
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Berlin Township Saturday evening. The crash happened on Route 224 just east of Bedell Road around 2:30 p.m. According to the release, a 17-year-old female was driving east on Route 224 in a Chrysler van when she tried to pass a vehicle ahead of her. While trying to pass, she struck a motorhome and then an SUV head-on.

The ice cream socials started as a way for parents and kids to meet their new classmates, teachers and principals. This family-friendly event is always a big draw and a huge hit. Robbinsville Council Approves Purchases of Vehicles, Gear to Keep Community Safe
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ - The Robbinsville Township Council has authorized $275,683.34 in spending to outfit both the Robbinsville Police Department and the Robbinsville Fire Department with vehicles, equipment, and gear their chiefs have deemed necessary to help keep the community safe. In one resolution, the purchase of two 2024 Ford Expedition XL 4x4 with emergency equipment upfitting was authorized from Ciocca Ford of Flemington. The new vehicles will replace to “high mileage police vehicles” and come with a total price tag of $137,542.44.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The Council also approved a resolution authorizing the purchase of radio equipment at a cost of $3,038.20 from a Metuchen based supplier and “related systems” from Motorola Solutions at an amount not to exceed $86,438,20. Finally, a third resolution approved a request from the Robbinsville Fire Department to purchase turnout gear, including jackets, pants, and boots for use by firefighters.
