    Florham Park's Parade Route Roads to Close on July 4th

    FLORHAM PARK, NJ - Florham Park streets and roads along the parade route will be closed on Thursday, July 4th.

    The police are advising residents of the following:

    "Please be advised in the interest of safety and security, the entire parade route will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC beginning at 8:30am on July 4, 2024. This will impact residents who live along the parade route, and all of the side streets that connect to the parade route (please see the map attached to this post).

    The red line indicates the route and where local roads are closed. The yellow line indicates the detour around the parade. Roads will be closed beginning at 8:30am and once closed there will be no vehicular access along the parade route or streets encompassed by the parade route.

    The parade begins at the intersection of Ridgedale Avenue and Brooklake Road. It travels south on Ridgedale and makes a left turn on Keyes Street. It travels Keyes to the end and makes a right on Leslie Avenue. It follows Leslie to the end and makes a right on Briarwood Road. It then makes a left on Tucker Street and follows that to the end. The parade then makes a right on Orchard Road and follows that to the end. It turns right onto Afton Drive and then right onto Ridgedale. It then follows Ridgedale Avenue to the Borough Hall where the parade ends.

    Please ensure that you plan accordingly. If you will be hosting guests, please advise them to arrive prior to 8:30am. If you will be leaving your residence, please do so prior to 8:30am. If you leave and will be returning to your home, please ensure you are back prior to 8:30am.
