Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Prato, a gem in the heart of Florida with a vibrant holiday vibe and an open kitchen that adds to the lively atmosphere. The apricot crostini was a delightful start, and the widowmaker pizza, with its unique hazelnut-infused base, was a standout. The campanelle pasta, freshly made and perfectly chewy, paired wonderfully with the creamy, flavor-packed tiramisu that concluded the meal on a high note. The patio seating was exceptionally comfortable, perfect for enjoying the local weather. While some dishes like the meatballs and pesto broccoli almond tortellini received mixed reviews from my fellow diners, the overall culinary experience was enhanced by the attentive service. The Italian Citrus drink came highly recommended and did not disappoint, adding a refreshing touch to the meal. Despite some concerns about hygiene practices observed at the pizza station, the restaurant's charm and the quality of most dishes make it a must-visit for those craving authentic Italian flavors.
