EA College Football 25: Overall ratings for Northeast Florida high school graduates

By Clayton Freeman, Jacksonville Florida Times-Union,

College Football 25 is here. So where do Northeast Florida's stars of the real-world gridiron stack up on the online field?

The long-anticipated return of the college football video game from EA Sports also means a moment in the virtual spotlight for former high school athletes across the First Coast, many of whom now appear in the game with their full names as part of the new world of Name, Image and Likeness in college athletics.

And the buzz is building: Just as with the Madden series for NFL football, all eyes are on the player rating system used to assess thousands of players across all 134 Football Bowl Subdivision programs throughout the game.

Not surprisingly, Georgia's Heisman Trophy candidate and former Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Football Carson Beck of Mandarin ranks near the very top — EA ranks him at No. 18 overall and No. 2 among quarterbacks with a 93 rating, just a notch below Colorado's Shedeur Sanders. But he's not the only one among locals.

Kickoff time: Who are the best players in Florida in EA College Football 25? Full speed, strength, overall ratings

Note that because students must opt in to be included in the game, not all players from area schools are included in College Football 25.

Check out the College Football overall ratings for players from Jacksonville-area high schools. This list will be expanded.
