With July quickly coming to a close, SNAP beneficiaries in eight states should expect to see their July payments hit their accounts by Sunday.

The funds, worth up to $1,751 for a household of eight, will be uploaded to an Electronic Benefit Transfer card, which functions as a debit card and can be used at any supermarket or grocery store that accepts the benefits. To qualify for SNAP, a household income must be at or below 130% of the poverty line — $2,072 per month or $32,328 per year. Benefits are distributed over a one-year period.

States do not distribute the funds all in one day, as some do it over the course of the month.

An individual recipient is eligible to receive a monthly allotment of $291.

Over the summer, households with school-age children are eligible to receive additional funding to account for children missing out on free and reduced-price lunch programs at schools. Qualifying families will see the additional payments, known as SUN Bucks, in their July balance.

Here are the states that will send benefits to recipients this week:

    Texas : July 28

    Maryland : July 23

    Louisiana : July 23

    Indiana : July 23

    Georgia : July 23

    Florida : July 28
