    Brevard County athletes in FHSAA state track & field

    Brevard County athletes are competing at the University of North Florida in FHSAA state track and field right now for Class 3A. Check back here for updates on results.

    9 p.m. UPDATE : Rockledge's girls placed fourth in the Class 3A team standings with 32 points, one point behind Barron Collier. Dillard won, with 76. Satellite (32) tied for eighth.

    7:10 UPDATE : After a third-place finish in the 4x100, Rockledge's girls are sixth in the team standings with 23 points, one out of fifth and six out of third. Dillard and Somerset Academy are tied at 32.

    4:35 UPDATE : Satellite girls set a Brevard County record in 4x800-meter relay to claim second place. The Raiders finished seventh in the event.

    3:55 UPDATE : Rockledge's Josiah Allen just beat his Brevard County javelin record by 23 feet, throwing 201 feet, 11 inches to win the state title. Add to that a 1-2 finish for the county in high jump by Nickiah Wilkinson of Bayside and Demond Scott Jr. of Rockledge, and a big week has gotten bigger.

    2:25 UPDATE: Rockledge's Daphne Aravena placed sixth in the girls javelin and Jaida Williams-Goins placed fourth in the girls long jump.
