New Rainbow Bridge Pet Remembrance Path opens in Rockledge

Brevard County welcomed a new place to honor pets who have passed away.

A ribbon cutting ceremony inaugurated the new Rainbow Bridge Pet Remembrance Path next to Hounds Town Space Coast pet daycare center at 3905 U.S. 1 in Rockledge at the intersection of Barnes Blvd.

The remembrance path is open to the community, where people who have lost beloved pets can leave a collar, a leash, or purchase a plaque in their pet's memory.

Rockledge Mayor Tom Price, and Council members Mike Cadore and Duane Daski joined owners Leslie Bottesch and Jane Banke to open the bridge to the public on Saturday.
