    Will a $2 ticket make you a millionaire? As they say in the lottery business, "it could happen to you." One Florida-bought ticket holder is pretty happy today.

    After no one matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball in the Tuesday, Sept. 3, Mega Millions drawing for $681 million, the jackpot shot up past $700 million for Friday, Sept. 6. Friday's winning numbers were 6-23-41-59-63 and the Mega Ball was 25. Megaplier was 2x . Those numbers mean another rollover and another milestone for this series of jackpots.

    The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday now soars to $800 million, with a cash option of $401.8 million.

    And about that Florida ticket. For the first time in weeks a Florida ticket was among those matching 5 for $1 million prizes. The other tickets matching 5 were purchased in California, Illinios, New Hampshire and Texas.

    An Ohio ticket won even bigger, matching 5 plus the Megaplier for a $2 million prize.

    In case you're wondering, Tuesday’s winning numbers were 12-41-43-52-55 and the Mega Ball was 9. Megaplier was 4x. Though those numbers meant another rollover, it wasn't all bad news: There were two big winners in Tuesday night's drawing. Tickets purchased in Kansas and Michigan matched 5 for $1 million prizes.
