A Central Florida resort chain is offering deeply discounted rates to residents in the path of Hurricane Milton, expected to hit the Tampa area later this week as a Category 3 hurricane before crossing the state and passing through Brevard.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts activated its Florida Resident Distress Rates for those in the 51 counties declared as under a state of emergency by Gov. Ron DeSantis. Hurricane Milton formed Sunday afternoon. Brevard is expected to feel affects from the storm Wednesday, and is one of the counties under a state of emergency.

“This initiative provides evacuees with a safe and affordable place to stay as they ride out the storm,” according to a press release from the hotel. “Rosen Hotels & Resorts remains committed to the safety and well-being of all Floridians, prioritizing people over profits in times of need.”

What are the Rosen Hotel Distress Rates and where are they offered?

Rosen Hotels & Resorts is pet-friendly and does not charge a pet fee during the distress rates. There is no resort charge and free Wi-Fi is offered. To reserve a room, call 866-33-ROSEN (76736).

The hotel chain previously had this offer for Hurricane Helene last month.

The very best place to get accurate information about any tropical storm is Tropical Tidbits on YouTube‼️We live in Brevard county & when our son was at FSU, he met a guy who was majoring in Meteorology & his family also lived in Brevard county. His name is Dr Levi Cowan & he stayed at FSU until he finished his PhD in Meteorology. He works for NOAA in Hawaii now & because he wants to give info to all in a calm, factual way. He's kept his YT channel & reports on all tropical storms & hurricanes usually once daily. Search Tropical Tidbits & you can subscribe & get notifications when he has a new update‼️

$22 per car parking fee and 25$ incident fee per adult. One dog per room but they're not going to leave Rover behind if you have two dogs. It's in the path but our mobile home is four miles from the bay. we're not going to chance it.
