    Lee Clerk’s Operation Green Light kicks off April 8

    Anyone with a suspended license or overdue traffic tickets may be eligible to get back on the road through the Lee County Clerk’s annual Operation Green Light. During the event, those with cases in collections will be allowed to pay their court fees and fines without getting charged the 25% collection surcharge. Additionally, Operation Green Light offers special payment plans that are only available during the event.

    Operation Green Light will take place April 8-19 (weekdays) from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Lee Clerk’s office at the downtown Fort Myers Justice Center or the Cape Coral Branch. Customers can also call 239- 533-5000 or save time by scheduling an appointment at www.leeclerk.org/appointment.

    Since 2020, Operation Green Light has saved customers around $2.5 million in collection fees, and more than 3,000 people became eligible to get their licenses back

    Traffic tickets have to be paid in full, however customers may enter into an affordable monthly payment plan for criminal court fees. Cash, credit card, check and/ or money order will be accepted. In addition to payment plans, community service opportunities are also an option for certain qualifying fines.

    Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort offers Easter experiences

    Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa, an award-winning resort in Bonita Springs, announced its Easter experiences for guests and the local community. The resort will host an extravagant holiday brunch, Easter egg hunts, and several family activities throughout the weekend.

    The Easter brunch will take place at Tanglewood, A Southern Kitchen on Sunday, March 31 between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The menu will feature a variety of breakfast favorites as well gourmet salads, oysters and sushi, and a pasta station with lobster ravioli and butternut squash ravioli. Diners also have access to a carving station with a slow-roasted peppered prime rib, an Easter ham, and a roasted leg of lamb. Additionally, the meal includes several house-made desserts including carrot cake, a lemon blueberry meringue tart, vanilla bean panna cotta, and an ice cream sundae station with a variety of toppings and sauces.

    The holiday meal is $110 for adults, $55 for children between the ages of five and 12, and children ages four and younger dine free. Each adult guests receives a complimentary mimosa upon arrival. Reservations are requested and can be made by visiting OpenTable.com .

    In addition to the Easter meal, the resort will provide several activities on Sunday, March 31, to commemorate the holiday. It will host three separate Easter egg hunts for different age groups. The Easter egg hunt for children ages two and younger will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Adventure Pool deck, the egg hunt for children between the ages of three and six will take place at 10:45 a.m. in the Cypress Courtyard, and children ages seven through 12 will hunt for eggs in the Royal Palm Courtyard at 11 a.m. The resort will also feature a magic holiday-themed arts and crafts throughout the day as well as a special magic show at 6:30 p.m. in its ballroom.

    Stock plans Open House for Corsa at Estero Crossing

    Stock’s Luxury Apartment Living announced it will be holding an Open House at its newest luxury rental community, Corsa at Estero Crossings in Estero, located on the south side of Corkscrew Road, immediately west of I-75.

    The Open House takes place Saturday, March 30, from noon to 4 p.m. and will celebrate the completion of the community’s clubhouse. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. There will also be a number of drawings for incredible giveaways.

    During the four-hour event, visitors will be able to tour the newly completed clubhouse to get a sense of the lifestyle available in the resort-style community.

    Corsa’s two-story, 21,364-square-foot clubhouse is the centerpiece of the community. The amenities include a resort-style pool with sun shelf, an expansive sun deck, private cabanas, grill stations and a large, covered veranda with table games for social gatherings, as well as an indoor-outdoor bar area.

    The leasing office is now located inside Corsa’s clubhouse. It is located at 21301 South Branch Blvd, Estero. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

    Household chemical waste collection scheduled in Bonita Springs

    Bonita Springs residents will be able to safely and responsibly dispose of household chemical waste — paints, cleaners, herbicides, pesticides, automotive fluids and pool chemicals — from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at Bonita Springs Recreation Center, 26740 Pine Ave.

    Hosted by Lee County Solid Waste and City of Bonita Springs, it features an easy, drive-through process and is available to all residents at no charge.

    Businesses that need chemical waste disposal can call MXI Environmental Services at 276-477-0947 to schedule an appointment for the monthly business collection.
