The International American Cultural Club of Westlake, founded by nurse practitioner Dr. Pam Manning,  was established to honor and educate Westlake about the many cultures represented in the community.

“I wanted to create a platform where our community could learn from and celebrate each other’s traditions and histories,” says Manning.

Building on it’s success, the IACC’s 2nd Annual Scholarship Gala is scheduled for October 11 at the Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center. This year’s event will feature a Diana Kae’s Flying Dresses fashion show, adding an element of high style to the evening.

“We are thrilled to continue our mission of cultural celebration while providing cultural awareness. The fashion show will be a unique highlight, and we hope to exceed last year’s fundraising achievements,” says Manning.

Beyond cultural education, the IACC supports local youths, leading to the creation of the B.I.R.T.H. Scholarship.

Seminole Ridge Community High school seniors interested in applying for the B.I.R.T.H. Scholarship can find more information and submit their applications this fall at iaccwestlakefl.com .

Manning says the IACC stands as a testament to what a dedicated community can achieve in fostering unity during diversity. As they look forward to another year, the club remains committed to its mission of celebrating diversity and empowering the next generation.
