World War II soldier to be buried in Denver
DENVER (KKTV) - The remains of U.S Army Staff Sgt. Harold A. Schafer will be buried on July 29 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Schafer was killed in action during World War II while engaged in battle with German forces north of Dillingen, Germany on Dec. 10, 1944. He was assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division.

Fatal hit-and-run ignites motorcycle and rider
A 53-year-old man and his motorcycle caught fire after colliding with another vehicle Tuesday. The woman driving the other vehicle fled the scene as the man and motorcycle burned, Loveland police say.
