New Dining Option Quietly Opens At Disney

    2024-08-30

If there is one thing that is constant about Walt Disney World, it is always changing. If you are a Disney fan you may have heard a bunch of really exciting updates recently announced during the annual D23 expo in efforts to combat some of the press Universal Studios has stolen with its own mega announcements. It is also interesting to note that for obvious reasons not everything is announced or celebrated in some cases you are just walking by and see something new!

On a recent trip this past weekend August 23rd it was a typical hot day in Orlando, when we decided to leave Hollywood Studios and walk over to Epcot for its outstanding food and drinking opportunities. We noticed it was fairly empty until we turned the corner.

Earlier in the day we noticed there were people working inside of the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs but it was blocked from being accessed. By the time we returned there was a line!

This line stayed steady about 10 to 15 people all day, we really did not know there was a corn dog following this dedicated as the temps were well over 90 degrees.

It did not seem as if they were using the building as intended, food was being handed back through the ordering window instead of sending people around the back side of the building.

This menu is almost sure to change as everything at Disney always does, our first thought was how expensive these corn dogs are, the second thought was this is Disney so it's inline with expectations. The Golden Dragon had the best appeal even at the $15.50 price tag. If you are into an All-Beef Hot Dog, fried in Cornmeal Batter, rolled in Panko Bread Crumbs. Served with Sriracha Mayo, Sweet Thai Chili, and a bag of chips it is money well spent.

Please let us know if you plan on including corn dogs in your next Disney trip in the comments below.

My husband will be delighted if they make a decent, basic corn dog. His Gold Standard is the Santa Cruz Pier. Hope they deliver.
