March’s treasure
The outdoorsman is a simple person: A creature of perseverance, with hours spent afield in search of whatever game is legal at the time. We’re also a creature of intimacy because no matter how tough of an exterior is presented, we truly appreciate the bonds and friendships formed with each other and creation as much, if not more, than the actual harvest. With that being said, I must also admit that we are a creature of habit, often displaying the habit of being fidgety and evermoving when trying to blend in among civilization. There’s only one cure for this, and it’s what the old timers like to call “Hitting the hills.” Contrary to how it sounds, odds are you’ve wanted to hit something, or someone, while at work or the grocery store. On the other hand, I guarantee that if you give an Eastern Kentucky ridgetop a chance those urges will pass, and the only thing you’ll want to hit is your knees and thank God for the scenery before you.
