Sentences handed down in trafficking cases
Two men were sentenced in Floyd County Circuit Court on Thursday, May 2 in drug trafficking cases. Ricky Crider, 34, was sentenced to two years in prison on the amended charge of possession of a controlled substance, first degree, 12 months in prison for possession of drug paraphernalia, five years in prison for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three years in prison for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and 12 months in prison for third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. The sentence was probated for a period of five years supervised probation and an order to complete drug court with an order to extend probation if needed for completion of drug court. The money was not seized at the time of sentencing.
