The Charles City Community Fund’s Cornhole Tournament at the Floyd County Fair is set for Saturday July 20th with registration at 3:00pm and the tournament starting at 4:00pm. Floyd, Bremer, Fayette Counties to Share in $25 Million for Bridge Updates
A coalition of Floyd, Fayette, and Bremer counties, plus the City of Dubuque, will each share in $50 million in federal transportation funding. The Department of Transportation’s (DOT) RAISE grants will enhance safety in urban neighborhoods and replace some 29 bridges across Northeast Iowa. The program was funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) supported by U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley in 2021.

Iowa infrastructure projects to receive $50 million in federal grants
