19 people affected by 'high levels of carbon monoxide' at southern Indiana hardware store
NEW ALBANY, Ind. — More than a dozen people were exposed to carbon monoxide at a hardware store in southern Indiana Thursday morning. New Albany Professional Firefighters responded to the incident. According to fire officials, they believe a machine used by a contractor doing overnight remodeling inside the store led to the "high levels of carbon monoxide" at the Holmes Ace Hardware store on Charlestown Road.
