Farm accident claims life of Laingsburg man
LAINGSBURG, MI — Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies say a 62-year-old man was killed in a farming accident on Tuesday afternoon near Laingsburg, which is just northeast of Lansing. The man, identified by police as Norman Kissling, was working with heavy farm equipment when he became pinned under the bucket of a Bobcat skid steer, the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

Troy educator selected for 2024 C-SPAN Teacher Fellowship
Ryan Werenka, a teacher at Troy High School, was selected as one of five educators in C-SPAN’s 2024 Teacher Fellowship program for a third consecutive year.
