Flint Police Department is asking for help finding a missing person
FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) - The Flint Police Department is asking for the public's help with finding a missing person. Police say that 28-year-old D'Margio Izeon Phipps, or "Odie," was last seen at Carriage Town Mission in the 600 block of Garland Street in Flint on July 1. Phipps was last seen wearing jeans and a casual t-shirt.

NWS says Tuesday’s storms were a derecho
FORT WAYNE (ADAMS) – The Storm Prediction Center sayas it was a derecho blew across Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio early Tuesday morning. A derecho is a straight-line windstorm that occurs over a large area with wind gusts of at least 58 mph. The storm spawned several tornadoes along it’s leading edge including twisters at O’Hare and Midway airports in Chicago and in northern Indiana.

(CBS DETROIT) - Michigan is at the forefront of a national push to police plumbing by passing a law that requires manufacturers of moistened wipes to place labels on their products warning "Do Not Flush.""It's sort of an uncomfortable topic to talk about," said Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller. (CBS DETROIT) - A 22-year-old Michigan man will give up $630,000 in cryptocurrency and cash as well as his computer tower after pleading guilty in a massive mPerks cyber theft scheme that cost Meijer more than $1 million. Nicholas Mui of Grand Haven pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of conducting a criminal enterprise in the theft and sale of information associated with mPerks accounts, the Michigan Attorney General's Office said. Mui was charged in December 2023 following a lengthy investigation by Michigan State Police's Fraud Investigation Section and the FORCE team.
